Stake guide

Prerequisites:

  2. NYM Tokens: You’ll need some NYM tokens to stake.

Steps to Stake on Your Mixnode with NYM:

1. Prepare Your Wallet:

  • Make sure your NYM wallet is funded with the desired amount of NYM tokens you want to stake.

2. Accessing Your NYM Wallet:

  • Log in to your NYM wallet. This is where you can manage your staking operation.

3. Initiate the Staking Process:

  • Navigate to the staking section of your NYM dashboard called Delegation.
  • Click the Delegate button.

4. Enter Staking Details:

  • Input the amount of NYM tokens you wish to stake.
  • Confirm the staking duration. NYM offers flexible staking periods, usually ranging from a few weeks to several months.

  • Confirm the staking transaction.
  • Wait for the confirmation of your staking transaction. It may take a few moments to process.

6. Monitor Your Staking:

  • Once your stake is confirmed, you’ll see it reflected in your NYM Wallet.
  • Monitor your staking rewards and any additional actions required periodically.

7. Additional Considerations:

  • Stay informed about NYM’s network updates, especially regarding staking rewards and any changes to the staking process.
  • Keep your NYM Wallet updated and secure to ensure smooth operations and safeguard your staked tokens.

  • When you decide to withdraw your staked tokens, navigate to the unstaking section of your mixnode dashboard.
  • Follow the prompts to initiate the unstaking process.
  • Be aware of any unstaking periods or cooldown periods that may apply.
